Redying clothes

Posted: 09.06.2008 at 03.50
I've worn them to death, but I can't let them go. They're my comfort clothes, the stuff I wear when I'm sick or just plodding around the house.
I want to see if I can bring them back to life by redying them. There's 2 black shirts with metal buttons, and a black jacket with metal zips.

Has anyone dyed clothes before, any suggestions and tips?

Yes you can bring back them in their colors but it depend on the quality of dye that you use.

I completely forgot about this. It's been almost a year and I got as far as buying the dye.
The story gets worse. I lent someone a t-shirt, one of my favourites. I bought it from a little store in Sydney, from a limited run. Anyhow they washed my tshirt with new sheets, which ran and stained my tee. I tried soaking it in nappy san, no effect. I tried using the solution to removed colour runsit stripped all the colour out of the tee (excluding the print) and made the stains more apparent.
I figure since Ill be at home this weekend languishing in my sickness I may try and redye the tee. Ill report the results if it happens.
