Does anyone know of anywhere nice to eat out in Surfers' Paradise? I'm up there next week for the first time in a while, and can't really remember being overly impressed with anything culinary.

Was just up there recently. The restraunt life is truly terrible there. Every night was an agonisng decision. There is nothing exciting to rave about.

Although apparently there is a revolving restraunt somewhere there, that might be worth checking out.

I know it's a little late (only 6 months or so!), but I can recommend The Ducks Nuts - Sorrento Shopping Village, about 5 mins from Surfers in a cab. It doesn't look like much but transforms at night with the help of experienced waiters and amazing french twist cuisine.

There are a few nice little places nearby to Surfers but in Surfers itself you won't find much else but food poisoning and a dirty club scene.

Broadbeach is the place to go if you're a foodie, Main Beach has a few little gems, Oskars on the beach at Burleigh is a affirmative for ambience and quality, Labrador, Marina Mirage & Palazzo Versace offer waterside dining if your tastes and budget are a little more extravagant.

All of these places are between 5 - 15 mins away in a cab, however, it is well worth the trip.
