What do you make of people wearing deliberately ripped stockings?

Personally a fan of it, but it has to be worn with a rock chic look.

I think it looks sexy, but I dunno if I'd be able to pull it off as an everyday type look. It's more dramatic and maybe a night-time, dress-up kind of thing. If only every side walk was a runway...lol

I think this is a great trend- I'm always ripping my stockings anyway and I love the 'rock look' side to the trend. It's also easy to pull off if you have the attitude... and I think it's great for an 'everyday' look- shopping in the city or going for coffee, teamed with boots and a short-ish 'Vivienne Westwood' style skirt, maybe a grunge-style jacket? I have no idea but I think this is going to be something that could be tied back into the neo-nineties trend- combined with the newer 90's trends recently exhibited. Although it could also be dressed-up. The one thing that should be said about this trend is that it's probably best not to wear it to work...
