Here's a strange for you, instead of buying your clothing, or even getting a five-finger discount on a few pieces, why not knock off the whole store?

London boutique thieves target FrostFrench store

The Islington store, which opened just two weeks ago during London Fashion Week, was broken into yesterday and around £10,000 worth of stock was stolen. "Sadie and Jemima are upset but will not let it get them down. They have got good business heads on them and know it's not the end of the world," said Leigh Anne Radbourne, assistant manager of the store.

Dreadful news today as it was revealed to British Vogue this morning that Christopher Kane's East End studio was broken into over the weekend and 23 pieces of his collection were stolen along with a laptop.

Kane is due to appear at London Fashion Week in one week's time but hopes to get the collection back together in time for the show.

Thieves clean out Luella's new store

To coincide with fashion week, Luella also opened her first London store Mayfair much to the delight of hundreds of London fashionistas. It was also to the delight of thieves, who smashed the shop window with a sledgehammer and grabbed up to 10 handbags worth a total of £10,000 as well random shelf stock. Police are linking this robbery with recent robberies on the Bond Street Ralph Lauren, and the Brora cashmere store in Marylebone just 10 minutes before hitting the Luella store.

Marc Jacobs - the latest designer targeted by thieves

Thieves have struck again, this time at the Marc Jacobs London store. A gang on moped, believed to also be responsible for the recent Luella store robbery, smashed through the window of the Marc Jacobs Mayfair store last night, stealing new season tote bags and clutches worth thousands of pounds.

Rumors are now flying that this incident coupled with the Luella store robbery and the raid on Christopher Kane's studio could all be linked. "This is something that happens infrequently across the West End; we'd be foolish not to link them, based on the method employed," said Detective Chief Inspector Martin Johnson. One thing's for sure, there are some pretty stylish criminals floating around town right now.

Panty Raid! Victoria's Secret Gets Robbed

The London bike thieves have struck again, this time smashing into Sonia Rykiel's store on Brook Street.

Meanwhile, a new string of American style stealing is on the rise:

Someone's planning heists at Victoria's Secret.

A month ago, a burgled store in Fairfield, Connecticut reported the theft of 100 bras from their Pink line. And last week, the same thieves stole over $4000 dollars worth of bras.

The investigating officer says, "We have some people who steal strange things." He's probably imagining a bizarre lingerie fetish, but we think he's wrong.

With the loads of lingerie appearing on major runways this season, it's clear the thief just wants to be in fashion.

hmmmz.. so everybody should be checking ebay?
what fuels this is the fact that everybody wants desginer, but they want it at a bargain price and these theives know that they will have no problem selling all the stolen merchandise very very quickly. In brisbane, the GHD warehouse was broken into a few months ago and cleared out, because lets face it, if its less than retail, people will buy them... and they dont care if its wrong or stolen (or fake for that matter) as long as it looks "cool" then its all good...

the gucci store here in perth was ram raided with a stolen car earlier this year

they left the car there and took off in another vehicle with all the stock

it's not an entirely new concept but it used to only happen in shipping yards and was written off as lost during transport, whole businesses worked like that but now it's like a few thugs want nicer jackets

Theft from a wardrobe:

Anti-Posh thieves steal from the Spice Girl
When you're a singer whose entire image is built around looking posh, the last thing you want is for some idiot to sneak into your dressing room and steal all your posh threads. Doubly so if said posh threads carry the name Cavalli.

After the Spice Girls performance in Cologne on Thursday, Posh returned to her room to find that two pairs of shoes at almost $10,000 each, stage outfits, and jewelry had been swiped. A satin robe specially designed by Cavalli for Mrs. Beckham was also taken.
