Weekends are always quieter (how many of us are sober I wonder?) so we're using the opportunity to upgrade the server Rogue Connect (and Rogue Ménage) sits on. You may see it go down for a short while later today, or you might just see a lot of errors.

Okay, we're back up after going down.

Most everything seems sorted but I am seeing a few strange errors (notably you can't post to the Fashion blog right now). If anyone comes across anything strange, I'd appreciate it if it were posted here.

I just logged in and tried to view the forums and had a whole stream of error messages pop up. Told me that my profile had not yet been approved and wouldn't let me access any other areas of the site. Tried logging out and then logging in again. No luck. I retried about an hour later and now seems to be working fine.

Error happened around 3PM, Tuesday 2 Jan. Using Safari on a Mac. Thought you'd like to know.

Thanks Nathan. Sounds like it might be a MySQL error if you got a stream of errors. I'll check out the server logs and see if I can hunt it down :)

oh.. i got some MySQL errors today too.. around 1pm

Thanks guys. We've been able to confirm that the hosting companies database is on the blink. It's affecting all their customers apparently, which includes some big guns such as Nike, so I'm expecting that it should be resolved pretty quickly.

Our host still hasn't got their act together, so in the time being there's an error message that I've put up to save you seeing all those nasty (nastier?) MySQL messages.
