I know its winter, but call me a futurist. My car has no AC, the commute to work can take either 15 or 45 minutes depending on traffic and by all reports it gets really hot out here, so I'm just planning my summer business wardrobe
So its either short sleeves, or cotton shirts with the sleeves rolled up/folded up.
I already have a shirt and tie combo in mind.

I've been wearing long-sleeved shirts with ties this winter as work-wear. Mostly preppy-style with a v-neck knit and blazer. Wondering now... would the short-sleeved shirt and tie combo work for girls?

Tell you what, I try it first if it doesn't work you have the shirts and try it. If that doesn't work then ebay.

Take a look at a few sites which do Northern European street style photos - it's a common part of business attire for a hot European summer.

Oh, I should add that I wore this look on the hotter days of the Summer just gone.

i think they look hot. Quality cotton short sleeved shirt, loose tie, hot man = sexual!

Bow ties - now that's one I haven't been game to try!
