News reports are saying British actress Gemma Arterton has been cast:

St Trinian's star Gemma Arterton has been cast as a Bond girl in the latest 007 film, according to industry paper The Hollywood Reporter.

The 21-year-old actress will play a character called Fields in the movie, which has the working title of Bond 22.

That costume looks awesome, what movie is from?

Gah I want that coat. Dunhill. Beautiful.

Gemma is going to be gorgeous in the film, but I'm told that she's not the main Bond girl in it.

Can't wait till they announce the title!

Yesterday, Variety reported that the Marc Forster-helmed film, loosely based on the Ian Fleming short story Risico, finds 007 (Daniel Craig) dispatched to infiltrate a drug ring flooding Britain with heroin.

Oh hes beautiful. Real example of a man. Im intrigued who the main bond girl will be. Shes a tad young anyhows. I think someone Emily Blunt, or someone totally left field like eva langoria.
Ive seen her in the action arena and shes quite good. But i think lucy lui would be hot!theyd totally look good together. Let me call the casting agent.HAHA

Ukrainian actress Olga Kurylenko has been cast as the female lead in the new 007 movie, which will start principal photography under the working title "Bond 22."

Returning from "Casino Royale" are Judi Dench as M, Jeffrey Wright as Felix Leiter and Giancarlo Giannini as Mathis. Newcomer to the Bond franchise, Gemma Arterton, will play MI6 Agent Fields.
