I wake up, wash my face with water, than clean it with a cleanser for dehydrated skin and take a shower.
After that I'll put on the bodylotion and moisturizer for the face and have something to eat. I usually eat 2 tangerines in the morning and drink white tea or water. Than I'll do my make up and I'm finished, ready to get off.
I try to use a scrub and mask once a week but sometimes I forget it and just try to get a facial as soon as possible. I like other people to do the mask and stuff, so I can just relax and enjoy it. I love to pamper my skin.

Ok then.. i have officially been put to shame! I clense, tone and moisturise twice daily and thats about it. I used to have really bad acne so i try not to use anything that aggeravates my skin, so i stick to what im used to. And i dont have any expensive products either, i dont get paid enough for that! Although my skin does get greasy quite quickly. I did use a microdermabrasion kit at one point to try and reduce the scarring from having acne although i didnt really get any positive results from this...does anyone have any tips for me... I really should take better care of my skin, but i do drink plenty of water and i eat veg like a good little girl!! xx

for acne scarring any vitamin c based product is good but it really depends on the concentration and how the product is made and packaged in order to keep it fresh because as soon as vitamin c hits the air it will start to go bad and lose its efficacy. Look for any packaging that is air tight and opaque so that no light or air can reach the vitamin c. Also look for the highest potency you can get. It depends on how much you want to get rid of the scarring, because unfortunately the better product it is, the more you have to pay.

There is some great products out there, one by Revive called the Moisturising Renewal cream, this has 8% glycolic acid so you can only use it at night time, but people start to see results within a week. They also have the best and highest potency vitamin c treatment on t he market called Arrete Booster C. Failing that, Philosophy have a great vitamin c peel called the Microdelivery Peel which you use twice weekly.

The reason you wouldn't have had much luck from the microdermabrasion is that you really have to use something more regularly than that, and also it wouldn't be speeding up your skin cell turnover, instead it gradually gets rid of the surface layers of the skin, but you wouldnt see a difference for a long time as scarring from acne is generally quite deep

hope this helps!

I use Mary Kay Timewise Miracle Set starting with the gel cleanser that cleanses, tones, and mildly exfoliates all in one, then I use a moisturizer with an spf 25 (less junk to put on my face and clog up my pores), and then foundation. All these products don't clog pores. At night I do basically the same thing only I add a night solution and take away the foundation. The night solution helps your skin repair the damage done all day. And every second or 3rd day I use Time Wise Microdermabrasion.
