I love Sam Rami's horror/monster movie flourishes, and I thought there was a lot of very funny moments, but while the cast of villains may of been classic Spiderman villains, they were a mis-match for the cinema - too implausible and not enough space for explanation.
A more mysterious and evil re-appearance of the Green Goblin on behalf of Harry in his fathers suit would have made better watching than sky-boarding missile-packing Harry and 15 minutes of Venom, spending more time as dweeby Eddie Brock than actually doing ANYTHING villainous.
Coming off Spiderman 2, I'm really dissapointed that this one barely average.
