I heard Damir was being stocked at Claude, it's pretty pricey, so I can't imagine they did a big volume on it... They only purchased a few pieces from FW08 if I recall correctly, and I think they've been dropped by Damir since?

To articulate what I mean by Damir's influence on Milan and Paris... This was the Damir Doma AW09 collection from Paris this past January...






I think the collections theme and styling were very influential on this set of SS10 shows...

I don't particularly understand this direction by julius.. i was kinda surprised by it. But Tim Blanks did hint it to be the next Rick Owens. Yeah with the exchange rate things went wrong for Claude Maus and their Damir stock... such a shame though! No more octopus scarf... unless I make another trip to hong kong haha

Oh speaking of Damir Doma, there's this young designer from Hong Kong who's now working with him called Karmuel Young... i've seen his stuff on xanga yonks ago and I once added him on myspace because I got confused with him and my cousin and he was all "who the eff are you" LOL.. this was ages before the whole fashion thing obviously.. haha

oh yeah it was brilliant, a huge step for them seeing as though about 6 months ago they were showing in Japan fashion week!
