European Catwalks have paraded suspenders for quite some time now, as can be seen with Luella and Karen Walken snaps, taken back in 2006. But suspenders have been the topic of some controversy. It's either you love them or you hate them. Personally, I think that suspenders worn the right way can look uber modern and cool - particularly if worn loose in a grey or a black colour with buttons and a skirt. But if worn the wrong way, you can wind up looking like your grandpa.

Suspenders dont have to be light material dresses though. Denim and shorts suspenders are another way of wearing the trend. Lindsay is seen here wearing them with Rayban Wayfarers, while Fergie wears suspenders with an early 90's style hat. Kirsten Dunst fills up at the petrol station with her suspenders worn casually. Are they on the way out or just starting to vamp up? What do you think? Are you wearing suspenders?

i like them, I only have one pair that go with a hot pair of black highwaisted flair jeans that are great... i have always like them though, since before they were 'in'

i like overalls too.. got a khaki green one that is short and full length grey ones. i like wearing the khaki one out with tan coloured sandals contrasted with gold buckles :) id wear it 100 saturday nights in a row if i could :)

ok here;s my thing ...i luv the simple.cute.chic suspenders look...however..alot of people on the street do to much when they wear suspenders..i have never be4 seen a person on the street with suspenders looking cute...
