A friend from work just got all these chakra symbols along his back in the different colours... they go right down the spine.

I have to say the thought of someone sticking a needle anywhere near my spine kind of freaks me out... :S

I had my low - mid spine tattooed, it's uncomfortable but bearable. The inside of my wrist hurt like hell! I nearly jumped out of the chair when the needle first touched my skin.

Yes lower mid back spinal area actually felt some what comfortable as opposed to the fatier area to the sides of the spine.

Also...just found out that Angelina Jolie's tattoo on her left shoulder blade is a Cambodian prayer for the safety of her & her children...aaaw! It was scribed in by a monk with an actual needle. ouch!!

I have a Marquesian design, Allen, that people seem to think looks like an ant.... Wierdly, it's the symbol for "tuna" but I liked it and seeing as I was sailing halfway round the world at the time it seemed appropriate.

i dont have one and will never have one!!- for girls its a bit unfair, we have to wear all the dresses with the low backs and/or short sleeves... i think if it isnt done really tastfully it can look a disaster!!

It's fairly old, I was thinking of having it removed actually. I got it when I was 18 and it has faded somewhat.

Danica, why dont you just get another tattoo over the top or get them to recolour it... its a cheaper alternative...

I have 3 tattoos... one on either shoulder blade on my back, a baby dragon and a creation of my own, she is my foxy devil, i have had them for 3 years this week actually. I also have 1 on my lower back, its a dragon entwined around a rose, had for about 1 year... i get allot of mixed emotions about them... everyone loves the rose dragon, thinks the baby dragon is cute but not many people are very fond of my foxy devil, they still like it, just not fond of it...

Getting tattoos really arent that bad... my explanation... it feels like someone is pinching you constantly... doesnt hurt as such, just is really annoying...

And yes they are addictive... lol!!!

I have Imagine written on my left wrist with a lil heart above it. I LOVE tats but my bf won't let me get another one :( Haha. My sis and I are planning one on our ankles, the same as what Gisele has.
