Tattoos?

Luckily I did a search before starting a new topic.

Do you think there's a "type" that suits tattoos, and that suits different tattoo styles?

Late last month I was in a change room and all the rooms were taken so I just stripped in front of the mirror while people looked on, it was then that I thought it would be a great if I had a tattoo on my back, since the people were staring at me anyhow they may as well have something to look at. So the new design is going to go on my back. I was reluctant to get anything too big since I work in a corporate environment, but most of the people in my industry wear black so the ink won't show through work shirts.
I wanted to get some major work done on my chest, stomach and wrists it was mostly inspired by how good I thought I looked at a costume party where I went as one of the crazy 88 and donned some yakuza inspired transfer tattoos. Im not sure about the wrists and chest now though. Im pushing it age wise and I dont think Ive got the right physique

I have one tattoo and some mornings I forget its there. One day after showering I looked at myself in the mirror, I had white hair and a tattoo and wondered what the hell I've done.
Anyhow, I had two designs sitting in my draw waiting for me to get the money/the balls/the time to get them done. I've since changed my mind about getting either of them and have spent most of this afternoon designing my new one.

Danica, why dont you just get another tattoo over the top or get them to recolour it... its a cheaper alternative...

Because its crooked, not what I asked for.

With technology as it is, I'd rather have it removed completely and then decide if I want something else there than resort to the method of having something put over it just to cover it up.

I have a plan for something else to go there, but the one I have now needs to be removed in its entirety for it to work.

Money isnt really an issue. Its more finding the time to get it done. Plus its on my stomach so the recovery time needs to factor in that I'm not going to be able to dance or do aerial for a while until the spot heals.

Healing time is a major factor in my wanting to get one done now, because of the size of the design I figured winter would be the best time to get it done, that way I won't sweat too much in the office whilst wearing the bandage and hopefully it won't itch as much as the first one.

i have 3 and they arent huge(50 cent pieces), as im a skinny little fembot massive animals and my mothers name just wouldnt suit me. Im happy with mine and didnt find it painful. the sound was more the problem. I say ya live once why not get one. You can look in the mirror when ur 80 and go what was i thinking, but ur likely going to do that with your lungs, liver and broken hip from reliving your single days of podium dancing anyhows.whats a bit of ink.
