Ok recently Vad revived an old thread of mine dealing with a new alcohol, I didn't know you guys enjoyed them this much so today I made an effort and found something really intresting.

Brewed in small batches in Northern California by the Karakasevic family, the Green Tea flavor's bite nicely balances a mixed drink and makes for a great aperitif as well.

From cool hunting and its made by Charbay

Sounds good.

Krait Prestige Champagne Lager

Krait Prestige Champagne Lager is a beer that aims to bridge the gap between those who love beer and those who prefer wine or champagne. It is being marketed as an alternative to wines, sparkling wine and champagne, with the taste of beer but the versatility of the other drinks

Why you would want a wine that tastes like beer I do not know.
Priced at $13 USD for a 750mL bottle

Swan's Neck Vodka

The trend of vodka made from grapes isn't over by a long shot. Next into the fray is Swan's Neck vodka which is being created by Bernard Portet, the founding winemaker of Clos Du Val Wine Company in Napa. The Napa Valley Register reports that Portet has returned to his roots in his native France and is teaming up with David Laverne...

Since I see it as sort of my duty to keep you up on new and exciting ways of getting trashed :)

Here is a new vodka : 26,000 Vodka

Believe it or not, 26000 Vodka is made with "pristine paleowater that is 260 centuries old" - hence the name. Of course, Earth has pretty much the exact same amount of water as it did millions of years ago, so that might not be as impressive a feat as it sounds. That being said, the ultra-premium vodka in question is made with very pure water that allows for an exceptionally smooth taste. All of it is made by hand in New Zealand, carefully distilled in small batches to ensure quality

From Rogue's Lifestyle Blog;

Some of you may have been keeping up with my "What to Drink" posts in the forum (if you haven't you should definitely check it out). I thought since we all now had the chance to contribute to Rogue's Lifestyle blog I would start writing about it in our Culture channel.

So what to start off with? Last night we had a bit of a celebration (I've left my current job to give more time to Rogue Mé) so to celebrate we had a little night out culminating in a sampling session of alcoholic beverages, and for this experiment we thought we would give the green light to Van Gogh Vodka. And why not? The Dirkzwager distillery has received royal appointment from Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands, so it was probably a safe bet. 'Hold on Allan', I hear you say, 'wasn't Van Gogh a painter, and didn't he cut off his own ear?'. Ah, yes. But, with both the brand and the painter being Dutch it seemed enough of a reason to name the range after him; they are after all proud of their heritage, traditions, and methods;

All Van Gogh flavoured vodkas are distilled and bottled by the Royal Dirkzwager Distilleries in Schiedam, Holland, a city famous since the 16th century for innovation in the distillation sciences.

Handmade in small batches by our own Master Distiller Tim Vos, Van Gogh Flavored Vodka is painstakingly crafted using only the finest fruit, grains and purified water. The grain alcohol goes through a multiple distillation process followed by an all-natural double infusion flavoring process, an innovative six-week procedure pioneered by the Royal Dirkzwager Distilleries

Van Gogh have a wide variety of flavoured vodkas available. We had the chance to 'review' Dutch Chocolate, Wild Apple, Vanilla, Espresso (by far the favourite) and their original Vodka, though according to the list more exotic flavours are available such as coconut, and the currently chic pomegranate.

In my limited (ed: a blatant lie) drinking experience I've had a fair few flavoured vodka's but Van Gogh's are definitely amongst the best. Each has a distinctive smell, and the flavours definitely exceed par. Because of their flavouring we found them fantastic for mixers. We tried them with everything from cola through to chocolate milk, and provided you don't mix the wrong flavours (a Wild Apple vodka and chocolate milk doesn't really sound appetising) Van Gogh Vodka's should definitley make your shelf and be a part of your next party.

[Available in Melbourne from drink online and their store on Chapel Street]
