Looks cute on you Courtenay! I'm loving that colour - but I think bright red will suit you too.

And p.s. Haley I like yours as well - I think it suits your look with the glasses! :)

Cheers, Tania! :D Yeah, I just want it to be a more natural shade of red :)

Thank you! :)

Blunt fringes for all!

I went with the bangs about a year ago now and while it lasted it was great (well my bf hated it but what does he know!) i loved it- only think is i was going to the hairdressers every 3 weeks because it was almost taking my eyes out on some occasions!

Haha, Claire, I know the feeling!

I'm lucky; I have an artist's steady hand and a pair of sharp scissors... hehehe... just gave it a trim last night :P

Slightly better pic...

Taken in Sydney at a french patisserie... it was awesome because the people who owned it were actually French! Not fake "oh, look! It's a croissant!" french but "oh, regarde! C'est un croissant!" francais.

End tangent.

I have been seeing more of these coming through lately, both on women and younger guys. IMHO, I think that they look better on guys if you hit the ends with your thinning (texturizing) shears. Not a lot, but just enough to soften it up a little bit.

PS: Ladies, you all look great in those cuts/styles... Haley, I would suggest a soft angle from the fringe (bangs.. no idea why) to the longest layer, front to back. Just a thought, but it seems it would give a touch more connection to the cut.
