I used to work with someone who bought her child sticky tape and bubble wrap for Christmas.

Finishing exams makes me smile. So does hopping over puddles while holding an umbrella. I feel like a child again, but in heels! It's best when a smile is unexpected. There is this one homeless man that I see on Pitt St frequently. This is heaps slack, but he reminds me of Smeagle in Lord of the Rings. He never wears shoes and a result he has black feet. They are also surprisingly wide. Natural selection? It's more along the lines of Lamark's theory of evolution I guess. But that's besides the point.. Today I saw him with brand new sports shoes. That brought about an unexpected smile :)
