Surprise of all surprises I just got through to a call centre in India. They apologise for the delay in getting through, it has been caused by Australia Day. Apparently the world celebrates the establishment of a British colony in Australia.

people that come up to you at 4pm and ask you to get them an by the end of the day. which happens to be in 1.5 hours. which means i have to drop everything to do somethign you shoudl have told me about SIX HOURS AGO. aagh!
