parents who feed their kids pure rubbish then say I have no idea why they are obease! It probably has something to do with the fact they've never seen a carrot in their life!

Back on the building subject Middlesbrough council decided to knock down this beautiful listed building

and sell the land on to Aldi! I really really really do not see the sense in it at all! Lets tear down the only building in this area that makes the place look nice and sell the land on to a cheap scruffy shop!
now doesnt that look better! NOT!!!!!!

Why are people so ignorant about the importance of buildings on a culture? Do you know what grade that building is listed at Samantha? I'm guessing a reasonably poor one otherwise Aldi wouldn't have made the purchase.

That's so sad!! :( Why can't people realise that the beauty and craftsmanship that went into old buildings like that will probably never exist again, is almost impossible to recreate, and the fact that the age and character of the place is what makes is so special and irreplaceable?? It's so utterly frustrating because you feel powerless to stop it.

I don't know what listing it was and unfortunately I've had a good search on the net and couldn't find it there either! But there was a huge uproar about knocking it down but obviously money comes first!
