my moms decided to get a full facelift- probably in malaysia. we found some cheapish packages, but her best friend from college and her husband are botht here, one is a surgeon, the other is an anaesthetist, so they are gonna help her find the best plastic surgeon, hospital, etc to have it done at. my mom is one of those ladies who, since her 30's, has been getting away with pretendting to be around 10 years younger than she is (at 28 she was paying childs fares on buses because conductors refused to believe she was an adult), and now, turning 60 this year, she has decided its time to lift it all. she does look great for her age, her e cup boobs (she is a size 10), after 3 kids, are still perky and she steals whatever clothes of mine and my sisters she can fit into! I hope these genes are hereditary!
lolo ferrari was scary :(

It's interesting what you can get done overseas. If most people could get over the 'fear' factor I'd think most everyone would go to central Europe or Asia for such things.

the thing is, most of our doctors were trained overseas, and often their standards are the same as, or higher, than ours in the medical field. as long as the doctor belongs to the appropriate regulatory bodies in whicever country, then you should be ok getting the work done. or thats what mom says- she studied in dublin, glasgow and sri lanka (i think she did some of her masters there) and said the standards were exactly the same.

Has your mum talked of any countries where the standards wouldn't be the same? I've really got to dig up the magazine I've got that lists where to go and where not to and what for.

she said she wouldnt go to thailand, china, eastern europe (EU countries would be fine), south america... she also said if you are with a reputable hospital you should be fine- no backyards!

I think that you can do it, but not too much

I am not opposed to a little body sculpting - a little enhancement here, a little less girth there - but so many people take it too far. I've found that when I'm feeling a little less than trim a simple body wrap firms things up nicely and feels so refreshing. A much more simple solution!
