I would say be careful on what the tattoo is of and where it's placed.

Don't end up having to do a Johnny Depp and cover up "Winona forever" so it says "Wino forever" (although that makes for a wonderful story)!

If you really want one, go for it! It's your choice!

just broke up with my bf and am seriously contemplating getting the words "carpe diem" on the underneath of my left wrist (so i can cover it with a watch). something small but a reminder to me of my goal in life and where i am going and not to let silly boys alter my perception of what i want...
but everybody i know is saying its a bad idea...

it means seize the day. its from a latin poem by Horace. It was also in the movie The Dead Poets society and basically means, make the best of what you have every day, because you dont know what the future will bring.

i was gonna get it done very tiny, but ill see if i still feel the need to in a month and then decide :)

I actually think it sounds like a good idea, and I'm against tats. Where you'd have it means it can be covered, it's also easy to remove if it's text. And it's good text, which makes it all the better.

I personally don't like permanent tattoos..I like the temporary ones occasionally...
