Im thinking of going to Europe for a few weeks in August from Australia. I've been looking around and it seems that it will cost around $2k including taxes to the UK return.

Just wondering if this is a good deal or if anyone has seen it going for cheaper? Also, with the economic crisis, would it be better to wait or book asap?

Thats a pretty good deal. I paid 3k return last year from Melbourne to London. Spending money was the problem! Eating out and doing stuff is the expensive part, although having said that there are a lot of things you can do for things you can do for nothing.
