Travelling to Europe 2007!

I will be going to Europe next year between March and August next year.

Is anyone else thinking of going to anywhere in Europe during that time?

At the moment I am planning to travel by myself but travel is so much more palatable when you have a companion (especially if you're feeling particularly snap happy) so would love to hear from anyone thinking of going (or even living there atm)! :p

I should be heading over to Europe around March - well that's currently the plan anyway.

Where abouts are you thinking of heading Xin?

Everywhere!

I'm starting in London, travelling around UK, France, Germany, Spain, Andorra, Portugal, Morroco, Austria, Belgium, Switzerland, Netherlands, Italy, Greece, even up to Turkey for a bit.

It's going to be a big trip.

That is a massive trip, given the time you'll be there I'm going to call it the Whitman's Sampler trip!!

Any particular touristy destinations you're looking to go to? In Italy you'd definetley want to spend a day in Venice :)

Yea... I'm really looking forward to Paris and London (of course) - but mainly because I'm a museum freak! In that same vein I am also looking forward to Athens and Delphi which have fantastic classical art museums.

I'm also really looking forward to seeing a bit of Western Europe - Czech Republic in particular.

It's not really a 'sampler' I suppose, I will be there for 5 months after all... but yes, there is a bit of the sampling aspect - I will probably just stay longer in cities I enjoy.

I have a feeling it's going to be a super busy trip.

Hoping to go to Europe towards the end of this year once I have settled my finances and can be sure there will be enough to buy a house AND go on a world trip ;)
