(NEW YORK) Versace's Pre-Fall 2008 collection is bold and bright, with clean lines and mod silhouettes. Donatella Versace channeled a 1960s aesthetic, adding her own unique edge with leather cigarette pants and laminated tights serving as a chic complement to romantic black tops. The color palette is upbeat--a pink cashmere wool coat and orange frilly empire dress stand out. Classic black pants in a variety of widths and fabrics are the ideal fall wardrobe staple with a dazzling go-to black gown for dressier occasions.
I love her work, DNA is a powerful thing. All the clothes are perfect in these shots. Due to my age, the above the knee boots would be the only outfit I would change to a below the knee boot. All very very wearable...
I have to say i like it. She has turned the house around since gianni's death. And i have to say i think this is a little gucci in away. The style lines. Im quite impressed. Be interesting to see the couture gowns they produce since they only did 15 last year. Two enthusiastic thumbs up.
