I've heard a lot about most of such ventures being put on the back burner due to the economy. Prada is apparently now set for a 2009 opening.

Just as I left Sydney I found out there's a store in Paddington that's started stocking V&R Men's.
The exact details are in my yet unpacked travel bag. (I hope I don't have bring a date back, my apartment is a mess)
