Will be in Melbourne tomorrow and Saturday for a wedding (16 & 17 May) in the Brunswick area. Any suggestions on good shopping/coffee around there? Arriving mid-morning and departing late afternoon so not much time between getting ready, getting drunk and recovering.

Rays on Victoria does great coffee. Well worth tracking this spot down.

For shopping maybe try Brunswick St in Fitzroy (not too far from Brunswick itself)... some cool smaller boutiques, second hand stores and generally quirky things.

There is a Douglas & Hope store also on Brunswick St near King Williams Street. They have Deborah Sweeney, Princess Tina, Karen Walker, Kate Sylvester, Florence Broadhurst, etc.
