PARIS Fashionistas: Prepare for a Kate Moss pilgrimage to Paris. The evergreen supermodel will be the subject of an upcoming show slated to open at Les Arts Décoratifs here in November 2009, focusing on the creation of the Kate Moss myth in advertising.

Were working out what is available, but her modeling agency has kept hold of absolutely everything shes done from the very beginning, including archive material from two decades ago, said curator in chief Pamela Golbin at a press conference here.

Golbin is also overseeing a Madeleine Vionnet retrospective, due to run June 18, 2009, to Jan. 24, 2010, which will require a massive restoration effort. Vionnet bequeathed her entire design archive to the museum in 1952, comprising over 122 dresses, 750 patterns and 75 photo albums.

Sponsored by Natixis, the stash has been dispatched to artisans around France who are painstakingly restoring it to its former glory in time for the exhibition, whose space will be designed by Andrée Putman.

An exhibition of Art Deco jewelry, by Jean Desprès and various other modernist jewelry protagonists, will run concurrently, March 19 to May 31, 2009.

Golbin also unveiled a series of fashion conferences to be led by herself and Chambre Syndicale president Didier Grumbach, scheduled to run on the last Thursday of each month in the sites conference room, starting this week. Kicking off with the house of Emanuel Ungaro, topics will include PARIS Fashionistas: Prepare for a Kate Moss pilgrimage to Paris.
