3.1 Philip Lim Ruffle Skirt

This skirt from designer Philip Lim is definitely on the trendy side and with its high waist, which will definitely compliment the right body shape (you know tall and leggy :) ), the cute buttons and knee length cut make it perfect for either a day at work, or a night on the town.

Avaliable from Net-a-Porter £195.74

Designer Swimwear has never been more exotic with this lavendar zebra print bikini from Diane von Furstenberg. The tortoiseshell pendant secures the front together, and is perfect for looking glam on hot days.

You can purchase it on Net-A-Porter

Just when you though that a fringe was only for Emos and that it would be fashion suicide, we bring some great news for you - the Thick Blunt Cut fringe is definitely back in.

We've been seeing it on some of the hottest models in London, Paris and New York, and even our very own Tania has tried it on for size.

So when you're booking your next haircut give this a definite look in - a word of warning though this may not be the best look for you if you have a roundish face.

I know one of the biggest pains of my life is that I naturally have curly and right now straight hair is definitely in. When it comes to straightening one's hair, you cannot go past a GHD Styling Iron.

And with ads like this how can one pass it up?

Ahem... even if you aren't a girl.

Available from GHD

my ghd is my life- when it broke i was lost without it!
curls are fun but too much maintenance (i live in brisbane- humidity is a killer!) and i must admit- i am a slave to my ghd

While up North it is beginning to heat up, here in Australia we're heading into the cold season (and I say about time!), and of course with autumn and winter coming up one must find ways of keeping warm, to this end todays daily desire is a scarf from Benoit Pierre Emery.

Though we don't recommend putting one around your head.

Some days things are gloomy and you need something nice to cheer up you and the people around you. Here's where this funky jewellery from tokidoki comes in, deck yourself out in some pieces from their collection and some bright clothes and you'll be brightening everyone's day!

Daily Desire: Shoes from alife

Alife first opened their doors in 1999 and as you should probably know have been going strong ever since then, and since right now I'm on the look out for some new shoes to go along with my skinny jeans I wish I could hop a plane to their sneaker boutique on Rivington St, New York although with my expense account, that would unfortunately, for the moment be out of the question.

As luck would have it some secretly tucked away stores in Melbourne are carrying the range, so I'll definitely be giving these stores a look in soon.

I just had to leave you with one final image
