Understated, elegant dresses seem to be the most 'in' right now when it comes to weddings...


What sort of dress did you wear, or do you plan to wear, to your wedding?

not married, but i recently went to a wedding where the bride wore a white satin dress that wasnt poofy or anything but amazingly elegant and because of it, she could get around at the reception and meet everybody and personally, i thought it was great!

Maggie Sottero has some stunning dresses. My wife wore one which was ace. I dont' have any pics on this comp of the dress but will upload it when i do.

Ahh, i think u can never decide what u want to wear till its the big day and u know what theme and decor and mood ur setting, but theere was this one vintage givenchy dress that I loved, i still ahev pictures of it lieing somewhere it was a colum with the most beautiful tulle and silk detailing and a huge hat! But for my figure type i think a corsetting vivienne westwood creation should work wonderfully!

Ive helped my grandmother design and make one.. it was kinda a Elven/medievil type dress.. white with gold trim.. Very pretty.. But too much for me.. i want something sorta 1930-40's era... pretty!! hahaha

I surpose that will change though.. Fashions change EVERYDAY!! haha..
I might want something Nig boffy and lacy.. Eww.. haha.. 1980's style.. Lets hope not.. But Who knows?? hahaha

I think that the most beautiful wedding dresses are Elie Saab's. Also the ones by Versace and Vera Wang are nice!

I want to wear something simple but elegant. Something that is clearly a wedding dress and not just a pretty white dress.
