I truly feel that Alexander McQueen is the last word in wedding dress excess. His were perfect. Oh god do I miss him, and oh wow is the house not the same without him. XO Alexander.

I shoot plenty of weddings and I have to say there is a real mixture that brides wear and opinion is very divided.

You see your traditional wedding dresses, your huge over the top dresses, slinky understanded dresses nearer to cocktail dresses and even some which are clearly cocktail dresses and not even white.

Some rule with flamboyancy, as many sequins and beads and as much fancy stitching as they can fit on. Some weigh a lot! others go for plain.

Each to their own.

These wedding dresses are no doubt awesome and fairy looking but again if we talk reality, one does not like to sit like a queen in her whole wedding function.
and with dresses like these its not possible to move around :)
