How's it been going, SoHo Babi?
I just joined a gym because a new one opened up 10min from my house and it's about blardy time I did some exercise. I'm absolutely adoring it though! I wish I wasn't so busy though so I could go every day!

thanks :) its really exciting for me! 2 of the photoshoots are just test shoots, like the photographers need someone to stand in and test lighting etc - hopefully i will get some good portfolio shots out of those ones and the other 2 are ads , nothing very exciting, but im taking everything i can get hehe

It is touch & go Amethyst, so easy to be mislead when on luncheons & dinners! But I hv taken some advise & it is toning that I am ultimately after...and I am definitely seeing results & I hv chosen to do it the healthy way (for mind & body).
I am over gyms tho...I was going in my lunch hour a while bak & pretty much I like to treadmill it & there are time limits etc & well...there is nothing I can't do outdoors that I can do at a gym. They hv put this awesome cross trainer (i think it is meant to be childrens play ground) down at the foreshore which is great. And I am going to purchase a push bike soon.
I just love my food & wine too much to be unhealthy about it..so no Adderall...he he.

Try doing some light weights at a gym, or do some self-resistance stuff at home with the cardio you're doing. Lots of reps and low weights to tone what you've got and not turn into super muscle girl.
I lost 25kilo on a cross trainer and weights program.
Tricep dips are good as are push ups on a fit ball (bloody 'ell those are gold).
I use mine to do some pilates stuff, like pelvic bridges and sit ups etc. It's good for toning, flexibility, strength and is still a nice girlie one to do without feeling like you're bulking up.
As for the eating healthy thing- go as little processing as possible- think brown and green... yum =S hehe. Try wholegrains, stacks of protein, carbs protein good fats (oils) and salad/vegies.
6 small meals a day 3 hours apartish.
Get active,
Stop weighing yourself.
And....
Ask yourself fo you really do have to lose weight in the first place?
good lord I know too much about dieting =P.

i'm a member at fitness first - and they are taking over sh!tloads of gyms in melbourne making it difficult to find an excuse not to go - with the passport membership you can go to any of them so when i find myself in the city area, theres like 4 in the CBD ...
i also do fitness first bootcamp 3 mornings a week. gets you into a nice early bird routine and you feel awesome for the rest of the day...plenty of likeminded fit people there too ;)
Ok i'll just stop sounding like a fitness first sales rep right about now.

Make a playlist on your ipod with 10, 15, 20 of what you beleive are the most increddible songs ever recorded! (I mean tunes that re-ignite passions, memories and feelings so vivid - you'd prefer to listen than have sex! well maybe ...
This makes your 30, 45 or 60 minute workouts an escape that you eagerly anticipate every day - 7 days per week.
I have created so many playlists - some days I can't decide and end-up doing several (40 minute spinning/cycling and 40 yoga/pilates)
(playlists are alsa a terrific way to time "flip time" when laying on the beach or pool)
Also, I agree - STOP WEIGHING YOURSELF!!!
Hope this helps -
