Count me in!! I've been trying to lose 3 kilos.
Perhaps it's a part of the human condition... we all think our lives would improve if we were 3 kilos thinner...
But that said, my life would be better if I was 3 kilos thinner!!! :P Lol!

u no what i did to loos 10 kg's walk my car broke so for 3 months i had to walk where i live they dont have a bus route well they do but its crap. so i walked every where the weight fell off me. i ate any thing i wanted i live off packet meals coz cooking is a huge effort when u have a screaming kid. now i walk my new dog my car is fixed and now i cant put weight back on. if i stop walking my dog she will get fat im in a loose loose situation. but if you want to loose weight dont stress (stress makes u fat) eat only til your not hungry and never eat until u are full. they are the only tips i have. so yeah hope it helps

ok my method... this may sound wierd but hey it worked for me.
during 2002 i was doing yr 12 at school. i stopped modelling and generally stopped looking after myself. came to end of the year and i was overweight.... but quite abit shamefully. Im only 5'10 and i was tipping it at around 96 kgs and not much of it was muscle. I ate bad and drank alot of iced coffee (at least a 600ml drink a day)
for 3 weeks straight (i had alot of time doing nothing) i had salads for lunch with beans and dry noodles in them. Agreed not the best taste but it was healthy. I went for a walk every day to the shops in the morning to grab the paper. its maybe a 5km round trip so not that far. Then for dinner i mixed it up abit. Asian foods did me wonders with lots of noodles, vegetables all mixed in and it tasted great. Id also change it up abit and have abit of red meats and good vegtables. I never went hungry and found if i eat a solid meal then i wouldnt need to snack. If i felt energetic id do push up, sit ups etc etc just to keep fitness levels up. In 3 weeks i lost 25 kgs of fat. I got down to a touch over 70 which i decided was a good weight to be and maintained it with a healthy diet.

Some brief thoughts from me:
Genetics. Get to know your body. Dont force your body to where it should not be, it will rebound one way or the other.
If you are trying to conceive, dont let your BMI drop too much
There is no rocket science to weight loss, cals in versus cals out
Dont starve or go on a low cal (less than 800cals) diet. Counter productive
Get good advice on any diet from a qualified dietician
Get weight off slowly and surely by less cals in and more cals out
Dont do hard excercise every day as the body needs time to recover
A mixture of cardio/pilates/weights-selective toning is wise- seek profesional advice
Dont touch pills at all, do it naturally!
If you are going to lose quite a lot of weight, do it with someone monitoring you. I have seen some friends slip near anorexia by being insular and losing the plot!
If you really want to know your body and as a model you should, then take a good set of meaurements such as these below and log them every few months or so. Find out what is going on with your bod as you grow and as you change eating and excercise plans. It is fascinating lol
Height ?
Weight ?
Bust ?
Chest at arm pit level ?
Chest at just below bust level ?
Waist (narrowest part)
Waist at navel
Hips -at top of hip bones
Hips- around the maximum of your butt
Hips-at crotch level
Inside leg (from crotch to floor) ?
Inside leg from crotch to knee- ?
Thigh circumference (widest part probably just down a bit from the top ?
Knee circumference
Max Calf circumference
Upper arm circumference- (arm resting)-?
Wrist circumference -?
Neck circumference- ?
there are more lol keep you busy with a tape measute tonight haa!
Above all make sure you really understand your Weight/Difficulty to keep That Weight/Happiness triangle!!!!
Life is about being healthy and happy. Get that right and nothing much else matters.
have a lovely week everyone

green tea! i think helps? it makes you go to the loo...
umm i know that if you stop eating at least 2 hours before you go to bed, you immediately lose 2 kilos? not sure if thats a myth or not but yeah...
and something about drinking 2 glasses of water 10-15 minutes before eating will make you want to eat less because water fills you up.
try to avoid using technology for the simplest things like going to the nearby shops; walk instead, or bike it...
avoid white rice because it expands and expands which causes you to bloat i think? try to opt for brown rice, organic pastas etc.

Not too sure bout women losing weight but interval training certainly works for men. Do high intensity exercise followed but low intensity then high and so on. That could be, for example 5 mins light jog on the treadmill followed by a 1.5mins fast pace.
