Okay chickers & doods!! Stop the Press!! Last NIGHT I weighed myself & I have lost a staggering 5 kilo's & I do not even know how, I eat like a horse.
Well, OK, I do know how...Exercise.
A yr of consistent exercise...and....I suppose I owe a bit to writing off my vehicle...see, I knew it was a blessing in disguise!
Also while I'm here I will share my other realisations too.
After yrs of berating myself internally about my figure, I have started to listen to those around me, especially my family. I have slowly, but surely, changed my mindset. When I am having a bad body image day I now combat it with the pleasant reminder of all those compliments people have given me about my body. And the reassurance that I was brought up on a healthy lifestyle (free from take out) and an overly active childhood.
My metabolism was not dead it was just broken.
Yay!! I think I got my metabolism back...

Losing weight fast... most of it should be water. There isn't a miracle cure to dieting and such... wait there is, but it's dangerous because it's a drug.

well she did it over time so great work soho babi.
i know for my gf she loves the whole combat fitness. she says its a workout and empowers her confidence as well (prolly cause she get to kick the crap outta stuff). So you could always try that.
right now im into a cycle of weights which is doing me good. light workout in the morning for 30 mins then a massive workout at night for 45. my body is completly stuffed after the heavy one so i rest and drink alot of water then head to bed. best sleep ever when ur body is completly exhausted. but make sure u drink that water cause otherwise u wake up very dehydrated. i have woken up a few nights in cramp due to not drinking enough.

Brittany that's fantastic weight loss. And congrats Soho!!! :D Sounds like you're doing really well. I like your point about thinking positively - it's so true, when you get down about it and feel hopeless you're just more likely to give up anyway.

I need advice my friends :( Now that I have hit my mid twenties, i don't recognize my body at all. I never worked out during my teen years and throughout all those years my weight was set at 100 pounds (the norm for my height). BUT now, I am seeing cellulite on different parts of my body and have begun to gain weight, and a lot of it!! I have also started for the first time in my life a consistent gym routine, lots of water, good diet, but I keep gaining! Any advice? How can I loose the blubber, without getting bulky?

Shehrazad,
What is your gym routine, do you incorporate alot of running/cycling? swimming is great as well, doesnt knacker your joints out and tones you up ...
Diet is aa key thing i have a diet i work too that seems working for me now, i am 51kg, i was last january 78kg, and at 5ft8 was quite overweight in my opionion..
What is your metabilsm like? fast.slow? do you drink booze on weekends...
Running is good for burning fat, swimming is good as the resistance is good in water and it tones, cycling is good, do you eat alot of carbs, pasta, bread, rice etc?
Libbs x

That is great to hear and you will treasure it much more as well. I've found girls that were thin when they were young don't treasure their bodies when they get older and gets bigger and lead to irrational behavior.
