I just finished The Reluctant Fundamentalist by Mohsin Hamid.

A+, if you get the chance you should really give it a read. The books is like a brilliant conversation.

I'm reading Belle De Jour: The Intimate Adventures of a London Call Girl

What's that like?

It's not bad.
As you can imagine its pretty much sex talk the whole time. Its written well, but there's no plot to it, its literally like a diary of how she got started and stories about clients or how her boyfriend reacts to it.
Its very domestic i'd say.
Sometimes you can love Belle, and her character, but sometimes you're made to realise what she does and how she acts and it can put you off.
When reading it you tend to forget what she does for a living, and learn what she's like, which i suppose shows that not all prostitutes are sex hungry, angry women.

There was a TV series over here in the UK with Billie Piper playing Belle, I've not seen it yet, but it'd be an interesting watch i think.

The TV series wasn't too bad at all. Bit contrived, but it is fiction.

Hmmm I may give it a shot then :)

Just finished reading 'The Big Sleep' by Raymond Chandler the other day - loved it.

Now onto 'The Beautiful and the Damned' by F. Scott Fitzgerald.

I tend to buy up on classics and have quite a collection that I've not yet gotten around to reading... I'm determined to get to reading them all!

Fashion Design by Sue Jenkins... it's not the most riveting read but I'm learning alot.

I just finished The Maltese Falcon by Dashiell Hammett. Great book!
