Surrounded by golds, silvers, crystals, law books, boxes and clothes, I have the heater on full blast and am sitting cosily in a white cK singlet from some horribly young age and grey cotton short shorts with a yellow stripe. Am one of those people who refuse to acknowledge winter by stubbornly wearing summer clothes in winter and just throwing on a coat.
Staying far far away from the sales and feeling virtuous. However, virtuous lasted only 2.6 minutes and now am feeling miserable.
With miserable came food. So thank god these shorts are elastic.
(Thinking instead to write shopping list for Europe. Does anyone have any must-gets from Europe? All suggestions appreciated! :))

Hooked up for the first time with the shoe designer off my runway Tristan Blair! Man - what a guy!!! What spectacular shoes!!!! See them on my catwalk at www.titomedia.com.au (MaraJoara 28/4)I dragged him along to the launch of Australian Fashion Council - a new initiative of the Council of Textiles and Fashion Industries Australia. Basically these guys are here to help fashion designers, manufacturers, students and government agencies with information, advice and assistance. One of interest to all fashion designers on Rogue is the Guide to Grants they are launching at the end of the month - all you ever wanted to know about industry grants to help get you started or to get your business to the next step!!! Definitely worth a mention! You can check these guys out at www.tfia.com.au .

I am wearing a tight white jacket from dangerfield (not usually my standard place to shop, but good on occasion!) with a zip that goes diagonally.
I had that battle with myself this morning as i got dressed for the dreaded casual day at work - I had to find that 'neat' casual medium - you cant look too cool or too dressed up (jeans over boots? I couldn't do it) so I opted for the white jacket as mentioned above with jeans...
i'd rather just wear a suit so i dont have to think so hard

Well the guys in Oz are a little slow to pick up that MaraJoara are a label to be stocked instore - so the team and I at MaraJoara are thinking of launching our own online store in partnership with our fellow label mates Bamboo Chutney, How.U.C.Me Bags and Tristan Blair... what do you think about an online boutique...? Would a guy or girl buy swimwear from an online store?? Keen to get your feedback!!!

Look Two - Carnivale Sassy
Sweet, Flirty, Fun, Energetic, Bubbly! The MaraJoara Sassy range features lush Carnivale floral prints in a range of colours and silhouettes. Miss MaraJoara Sassy chooses delicate and feminine looks or dares to "viva a vida" and be bright and bold!
Gorgeous hand embroidery and beading draws even more attention to cutaway maillots, halter bikinis, daring tie side bottoms, sexy bandeau tops and flirtatious hipster pants. All colours of the rainbow are represented from soft pastels to rich bright tones. The cutaway string-strapped maillot in denim-like stretch with a delicate line of hand detailed flowers bordering its midsection and a pocket on the bodice is a stand out this season!
Team with How.U.C.Me Bags and Bamboo Chutney Accessories for ultimate "Carnivale" style!
MaraJoara Men includes the traditional brazilian style mens pant. Think half way between the "euro" style and the old Aussie "budgie smuggler"!

Well today I went out with some mates for dinner I wore a pair of black leggings, thin white knit jumper, and best of all my red dorthy (wizard of oz inspired) ballet flats. I had to keep the look simple tonight because it was supposed to be a pretty casual night...nothing too "HEY LOOK AT ME!"

So... I'm thinking of making a trek down to Melb in the next 2 months to see stockists, but I have no idea re the best stores. I'd love to get names so I'd be able to contact them beforehand. Any recs for stores that would be interested in my pieces - see
www.jyjewels.com for an idea of the style.
Greatly appreciated in advance! =)
