Hi everyone im a student at Oakland University and i have a paper due on fashion/accessories and i would like to know what got your interest in wearing accessories, why you wear them...and how much do you spend on accessories.? Thank You :)

I like how they can complete an outfit.. and if you have a one off piece or something that's not so mass produced it can become your signiture piece.

Personally I like a Hermes pocket square aren't seen too frequently so you can get away with it without looking like everyone else

I for me it ranges... $2 for a secondhand pin to $200 on a Hermes Pocket Square

Definitely for the capability to finish off any outfit. Without an accessory you look like every other average person on the street; and who wants to look average?

Exactly. The right accessory can take you from just like everyone else to fabulous/interesting/standout stylish in 5 seconds flat.
Money-wise, I've spent from skyhigh down to a few cents, depending on the object of devotion. I think that's one of the attractions - with some creativity, you can accessorise well on any budget. I used to have a favourite badge/pendant which I picked up at a country market - it was a silver shooting trophy from the 1900s, I think I paid 50 cents for it. I wonder where that is now...

When I tried using accessories but my outfit is just simple - that's when I got interested with accessories. I realized that a simple outfit can look expensive by putting accessories. It gives life to any outfit.

Yea, it makes an outfit pop and completes the outfit. Also, they're just fun and you cant have enough of them. drawers of bracelets, necklaces, earrings, bows, laces etc. You just have to use them wisely and remember not to take away from the outfit, but just to accentuate it.

It can really make us more beautiful.
Recently,I saw that more and people around me especially women often wear a scarf to decorate themselves.
