I just bought this tie and i have no idea what shirt to match it with.



I'm wearing a black suit with it. would prefer not to wear a white shirt and definately nothing with green on the shirt as i plan to wear a pocket handkerchief in a matching green - unless of course anyone has any other suggestions?

What do you guys think?

What about something with a lilac? Particular a light lilac. They're complimentary colours.

Is that a Black Label tie Simon? Have a look at their Black Label striped lilac shirt with contrast collar if you walk up Collins Street.

i thing light green,or dark chocolaty colors can only go with this tie and black suit

chocolate brown could look good (either that or you will come off looking like a tree)...i would stay with something quite pale...

I'll second daniel with the pale lilac.

whit with lilac stripe would help to keep the ensemble from appearing too dark.
