Ah, now I'm following this. You're talking about DaVinci Code aren't you Eric? For some reason I just couldn't get into the book, by the end I really just felt Brown was stretching it out, he knew where he wanted to go but had to put filler before he could get there.
The last movie I went to se was Omen and it was sooo disappointing. The classic Omen films used to be scary for kids but this was just like any other B-grade horror flick. As Allan said correctly any movie that relies on a campaign for release is not going to be that good. I went out on the 06.06.06 to watch it, which was its release date. I wasnt impressed there were some good moments but if you want to see it wait for the video because even putting it on DVD with extras isnt going to make it better.
I've seen a stack of films now - all thanks to the inflight entertainment provided by Qantas. The most enjoyable of which was The Matador, starring Pierce Brosnan. A little odd and quirky, but a very cool flick!
Yeh I remember airplane entertainment. They have about 12 movies and if you fly for long or there and back in the same month you get to watch them all. The worst part is when they have the same shows on over and over again and you watch the same episode 4 times.
I just watched "Stealth" last night - the acting was a bit hammy, the story line wasn't the greatest, but I loved it. That could be contributed solely to Jessica Biel's great big...smile...and her perfectly shaped...toes. Yes, that's it.
Oh, and killer sound. If you've got a good surround sound system at home the sub will keep you shaking from start to finish.
Ok the last movie i saw was a hindi Indian Bollywood one, still cannot get tickets for superman returns sadly :( but did catch Da vinci code a few weeks back,it was ok i failed to see the hoopla!
