Yeah, the hoopla is a bit excessive. I did see that Temple church in London that's in the Da Vinci Code... was pretty.

Oh and I didn't answer the film question... I watched Match Point on the plane - it was kind of slow but different. I couldn't quite decide whether I liked it or not to be honest!

I bought a Mel Brooks box set, and I have to say on the whole I really like him my favourite was To Be or Not to Be and Silent Movie :)

Slightly embarissingly, 2004's Mean Girls. Just finished watching it on DVD. Actually a lot better than I thought it would be, and I'm amazed at how young they made Rachel McAdams appear given she turns 30 this October, so would have been 28 at the time of filming.
