I too have a mean personal trainer. He's close to perfect. Bar for one thing. His idea of punishing me seems akin to hospitalising me.

I walk everywhere, usually pushing my 2yr old in his monster size pram.
Does anyone know what kind of exercises i can do at home to workout my bottom (hehe) and thighs?
Id like to join a gym but trying to find one locally that has a child minding area has proven to be pretty difficult!

lol. daniel so far i have passed out, thrown up, worked my arms till i could no longer move them, worke dmy legs till i could no longer walk...
you can do squats and lunges pretty easily with hand weights at home, or jump on a treadmill and put the incline all the way up and go slowly- absolute killer. he also gets me to do this thing where i step up onto a high box a few billion times in a row. but the thing that has worked the most for me has been a leg press- low weight and like 10 sets of 20 reps.

i do yoga, and i rock climb a few times a week. i've always been for more enjoyable things rather than hardcore working out.

I love dancing. Not only because its my passion but it also keeps me fit. But if you ask me about proper sports, i do play Squash in our local club. You may not compare it with other proper Squash clubs but it provides me with good environment to play and enjoy. Above all, it burns lot more calories ;)

I used to be in hawaiian dance lessons, but it wasn't enough work out for me, so I decided to take some pole lessons, I've been going for the last 2 weeks and I absolutely love it, it's so different than any other thing I have ever done, so maybe that's why I like it, the work out it's very intense, so it's perfect for me. I totally recommend it, it makes you more confident and really tones up the body.

Oooh! Nice to see a few dancers in here! =)
I gave up hiphop/pop dance classes a few months ago (miss it soo much!). I now do much more gym, rollerblading, tennis and rock climbing.
My trainer recently gave me a bit of a cardio ban so I am doing more weights then usual. Currently I'm running at 15-17 km/ph on treadmills or inclined running. Not sure how much I can bench yet since I've started from the absolute basics with cable pulls and hand weights.
I do some boxing in the gym but want to start trying weng chun martial arts (my father's obsessed with weng chun and kept getting me to try it). =P
