What's wrong with the Louis Vuitton brand?

For me, this sneaker epitomises what is wrong with LV (as a brand for me);

When will they stop depending on their monogram for their collections, and realise that everything that has the monogram immediately looks like a fake? They need to rest it for a few years.

yeah i find the monogram really offputting..
if i did ever buy anything LV, (and that's a very unlikely if) it'd be from the epi/suhali range which is nicely monogram-free

I agree - if anything you'd want to purchase the brand for the quality, not because it has the monogram all over it. There are too many monogramed fakes.

That looks almost fake, I think that people have now really come to associate anything thats heavily monogrammed by LV as fake.

If I didn't know it wasn't a fake, I'd swear till I was blue in the face that it was. Patent leather, suede, and LV monogrammed leather?

Obviously they're still vying for the rapper niche of the market.

This is what they should be doing more of. This looks like quality, looks like something I'd like to buy (a male version of), is well designed, and doesn't rely on a hacked-to-death monogram;

They should really ditch the monogram. It's been faked to death to the point where even authentics make me feel slightly ill. I like the bag; it's cute and just the right combo of different textures too.
