On a side note: Has anyone seen the new ad campaign with Pharrell Williams? I think I might like it despite myself. Some of the new fall 2006 peices are a much needed branch out from the over-used monogram

look its not their fault that copies have been made and therefore been given loui vuitton a bad nae, just like von dutch, but yes i agree that they need to give it a rest and focus on quality. i would never buy anything from loui vuitton with the logo on it because it would look fake, but i feel sorry for them :(

thanks for pointing me this way allan :)
i completely agree- i wouldn't buy one because everybody would think its fake and every one i see i pretty much think "fake" all the LV i own is epi leather or suhali and i love it. I feel sorry for LV but really, if people started copying it wouldnt you *stop making it*? does that not make sense?

this is a gross generalization and stereotype, but the whole LV monogrammed products has spawned off a whole league of LV groupies that tend to all act, walk, talk, and carry themselves the same way which quite honestly disgusts me.

i think i nearly puked when i saw the newly wed couple on my recent trip to Las Vegas stop outside the LV store in the Wynn Hotel. Do you really want a wedding photo in front of a giant metal wall monogrammed with LV? I guess obviously some people do....

ghosty did you see the picture floating around the internet of the people who, i kid you not, had the entire bridal party decked out in fake LV monogrammed material? the wedding dress, bridesmaids dresses and the guys bowties and waistcoats. I wanted to puke. It was a black ghetto fabulous wedding but still- thats nasty!
I'll see if i can find the pic for you

ooh found them.. 4 pics

for your enjoyment (or to induce vomiting)
as the caption said "Nothing says classy like having your gold-toothed bridesmaid wear something that looks like a counterfeit louis vuitton shower curtain. I bet those roses are plastic, too."
I jsut noticed- you can see they have that material draped all over the church in photo 2.. eww eww eww.. and this is why i will never own an LV monogrammed ANYTHING
