I love restaurants with seafood and nice cocktails. Does anyone have a good seafood restaurant that they have tried?

I like Chinese and Japanese restaurants too, although ive never been to flower drum...

Has anyone tried a place called Fog in Melbourne? Apparently its really nice?

What other styles of restaurants do people like?

my fave restaurant is called Joseph Alexanders and its here in Brisbane. They seem to do bloody everything good but my fave is their seafood platter for 2, its one of those 3 tier things and the best way is to tell them thats wha tyou want when you make reservations because some stuff needs to be specially ordered. Oh and they do the most amazing creme brulee i have ever tasted!

"Grossi Florentino" is by far the best restaurant I've been to. It is a very fine Italian restaurant which is worth the money, even though it is very very expensive. The interior of the restaurant, the atmosphere, the service, the people and the food is magnificant.

The second restaurnant that I love is "Bokchoy Tang" on Federation Square, is an excellent contemporary Chinese cusine and the service and atmosphere is fantastic.

Also, "Breezer" in Crown Towers is a very romantic french crusine to dine at. The food servings is enough to leave you satisfied.

"KoKo" in Crown Towers offers great experience of great taste of fine dining of Japanese crusine.

"Osaka" in St Kilda, is pretty addorable and is a nice Japanese crusine and I love its semi-hidden location, which reveals traditional Japanese cushion seats and low tables.

I tend to find there are a lot of great Japanese restaurants around and not so many Chinese restaurants, as I tend to find a lot of Chinese restaurants are offer pretty much the same thing.

Flower drum is overrated.

I second Osaka in St Kilda. Great food and pricing and that's coming from someone who's married to a Japanese gal grown up on proper traditional Japanese food (and I'm fussy about Japanese food quality as well ;))

If you're into meat, Mediterraneo Charcoal Grill in Albert Park is tops as well.
