Im interested in hearing where is a good place to go out that is filled with the fashionistas of the future?
Im over going out to see guys in singlets or topless with a skanky pair of jeans on. All looking the same.
A gay friendly environment would be good as we usually travel with entourages.LOL

I've been to two gay club in sydney & I hear you when you say that the eyes get tired of staring at flesh or singlets!

Unfortunately, I must admitt I haven't paid attention to names of clubs that my gay friends have described as classy. I shall ask & perhaps get back to you on this one! But I'm assuming it would be an older crowd..

hey dude! go and buy the melbourne design guide.

i think i retails for about $30-35 dollars. Its basically your little insider book to everything thats hot, funky, and fantabu-lash in melbourne from shopping, restaurants, bars, cafes, art + basically design. I'd recommend it to anyone trying to unravel some of melbournes mysteries!

Good luck!

ps because these joints are connected to the design industry - designers + the design conscious citizen tends to frequent these venues!

is there an equivalent in Sydney? I find quite useful the brochures the local councils put out. A good summary of art galleries and coffee joints(I prefer tea though). Discovered places I haven't stumbled across in Surry Hills through that. The SMH weekender also does a good job I think.

All the best toottoot pardon me I haven't a clue what your name is :)
