There are some great trends out there, but there others that I really just wish would fade away.

Personally, I think that white sunglasses are over.

They've done their dash IMO.

Oh I love the white sunglasses. I love white period. I'm just really in love with that color right now. You would think I would be sick of the white trend considering I have to wear white shirts to work everyday. I really love the new trends right now. However, I am really sick of the Goth and Punk look and piercings and tattoos that cover the whole body. I really wish those trends would go away!

the goth look really isnt a trend, its one of those mainstay subcultures. Emo on the other hand is a trend perpetuated by JayJays and all those other cheap chainstores aimed at the tweens and mid teens. The number of girls (and guys) I see with skinny black jeans teamed with striped black tops and eyeliner and side swept fringes...oh and converse sneakers. I am so very tired of this look

other trends that (i think) are over done

+polka dots (so sad about this one, but once supre got its claws into the idea, there was no hope)
+stripes
+boots and jeans
+girl mullets (please dont hate me any roguettes who have mullets)

that said, I still wear my polka dotted blouse, and boots with jeans. I just think its overdone is all lol.

Saw a small amount of it in the UK, mostly red and white, thought it was very cute.

+stripes
Still too new to go away anytime soon.

+boots and jeans
Looks ultra sexy on most girls so I hope it never goes away. Oh and when I say most girls, I am excluding from that girls with extra weight who insist on wearing jeans a few sizes to small thus revealing said extra weight to the entire world.

+girl mullets (please dont hate me any roguettes who have mullets)
Can we just agree on mullets full stop?

lol@the demulletification.

i looove boots and jeans so even though its been overdone I dont want it to go away. such a nice warm toasty way of looking hot in winter :)

but yes, the muffin tops and bum outpourages are very scary. and oh so wrong. If only girls would dress to suit their figure ala Queen Latifah, and not attempt to squeeze into tiny clothes which only make them look bad...

Exactly! You get so many people whinging about how super-slim models give girls distorted body images, but when you look on the street it seems the the only think distorted is their ability to recognise what size they really are!

This sort of thing isn't too bad (but still wrong);

Where as this girl should be arrested;

Yeah I agree - the most important thing is to wear what suits you and is flattering!

Jeans and boots... a marriage made in heaven - though there are way too many people about who make it look drab, it's too useful a trend to give up so soon. :D
