The wide-leg jean.

Okay, this trend hasn't even started but Teen Vogue has touted it as a 'must buy'. Must buy glasses I think.

I love overalls atm...and especially denim...i hv a cool pair of Grip ones...however...they're fairly figure hugging (to be quite honest they're tight!) & are just plain sexy!!
I don't know about the wideleg jeans tho...hmmm, maybe on girls with shorter legs. I think the pic is still cute tho....i wld prob buy them! :-))

Saw said wilderbeest whilst driving past MacDonalds (despite this, still went ahead to order medium size Quarter Pounder meal, strange the intensity and unwaveringness of the golden arches =P) and just ... in the headlights of the car, it looked almost like it was aliiiveeeee.

Midriffs should DIE unless you are a supermodel.

Widelegs are unflattering on all but those with long long legs. Short legs and widelegs = square lower half.

I know I will be shot down in flames, but GLOSS. I am so sick of my hair getting caught in it in the wind.
Bottom crack, yes, and bulging love handles over the top. I don't have any issues with a "healthy" lass with girth, as I am one, but, there are sizes in jeans for a reason, and if your jeans need to be sooo tight that it resembles a trussed up roast with a bottom, then it's time to go up a size or 2.

Personally a noice fitted pant can be way more flattering for those of us in the over size 8-10 category. (just because we can get them on does not mean it's the right size).

Well, I do like a wide legged jean with a high waist, since I have a teeny waist with a sizable derrierre and positively short legs, it's a shape that is most becoming. With skinny jeans I look so bad. Like an elephant in jeans...on rollerskates...with blue eyeshadow and pink lipstick...

Jeans with boots are here to stay.....its all over the world, inside or outside your jeans is HOT! Stripes and Pokerdots....OMG who decided that this was this season's new trend. Horrible. The wide pants/jeans thang just doesn't cut it either....somehow I don't think that trend even made it here....and I hope it doesn't. The tulip skirts are nice on models but i think that trend will be short lived, saw a girl last weekend in one and she looked wrong...sorry chick. The waist high belts trend can only be pulled off by a few....certainly not me lol, I am so over the girls that shouldn't wear them, trying to pull it off....I love my jeans and belts round my hips, that will never change.

To be perfectly honest, I'm loving the polkadots... I'm actually hating slouchy boots, but I dont think they'll be as strong the second time around...

I think obi belts are on the way out - made too commonplace by those cheap fake-leather ones you get in Supre, etc.

That said though, I can still kind of forgive the ones that are different and really nice, like these from the Paul Smith Spring/Summer 05 collection (my favorite collection of his ever):
