Are you going to watch it? Avoid it? Actually go to it?
Personally I'm following these chaps;
Well more or less.
I'll be in Europe at the time of the World Cup, but I shan't be heading to Germany to see England play! I will, however, happily go down to a local and watch it while I'm there
I've been questioned on my loyalty - "Who would you choose if Korea played Australia?"
Thankfully that will never happen so there's no real need for an answer. Looking forward to Australia's first game but unfortunate that it might be their only game. =( Saw the hotel they were staying at though, and it looks as European luxe as any accommodation could be!
I've had a fair crack at Brazil at the $3.75, so the head says Brazil, but the heart says the Czechs (heritage thing).
Dan, surely you have football-envy for the job we did on Japan? I was on the steps of Parliament in Melbourne on Spring Street at 3:00am in the morning with 2,000 others dancing to the bongo drums singing Walzing Matilda 700 times.
A friend and I promised ourselves we'll never miss another World Cup as long as we are both on this planet. Wish I was there.
I think yesterday was the most disappointing game so far it was Spain Vs Ukraine. It was the first game Ukraine played in the world cup so there was a lot of pressure and they got pulverized even though they had great players like Shevchenko and Rebrov.
Spain 4
Ukraine 0
