MYER used to have some class. But when did it become so chavtastic?

Bar for the blight of the glass bridge it exudes a similar level of class as back it its hey-day

And it's because of that low-class, tacky, chavness they've become so good at representing, that they don't get my shopping dollars.

NOT Melb! Sydney maybe, but would France tissy up one of their castles like this.... Where is the heritage group

No idea. Heritage groups in Victoria are clearly impotent and desperately in need of some fresh blood in them.

France has been clever enough to maintain Paris as a close to pure city. Why Melbourne feels the need to constantly destroy its heritage (it's lost most of admittedly) is beyond me.

I vote with my wallet, of which MYER shan't see the inside.

urgh! It looks like they are trying to redo themselves like HK or Shanghai. All the new fanged shopping malls look like that.

You would think with all the heritage listing where people can't paint their fences or fill a two-inch deep whole this would qualify?

I think this calls for a boycott; the entire fashionising community against the new chav-tastic design!
