95.2% of Writers Guild members voted to return to work tomorrow, allowing the Oscars to move forward, television series to produce new episodes before the summer, and, most importantly, Hollywood execs to leave their lot offices for lunch without running over picketers.

Yay.

Yes ive been following this in the US today show with lovely meredith. Looks like alot of our popular series will not be back until next year as they will run the season from the beginning in 09 rather than stopping half way. SAG is on strike in two weeks as well too aapparently which means actors will then walk off the sets. Sorta sucks as alot of new shows will not be shown in their full season and have to compete again against next years new shows.
