I've decided to try and give up denim, only wearing it on the weekend instead.

I'm off to get a sample collection made up in Vietnam next month so my 2008 look will definitely entail wearing far more of my own designs. I plan to bring some brighter hues into my black-dominated wardrobe as well.

Cheers Tania, I'll be sure to stick up plenty of pics when they're done.

Im trying to sort out my look. I dress to my moods, but decided that i will wear more scarves around the neck etc. Although i like how gucci men are using scarves as belt with embalishments. would like to try that.

my look is going to be slimmer, thanks to my newly discovered inner gym-junkie, which i have now unleashed. due to a higher level of authority in my business, i am also going far more corporate at work- i used to get away with smart casual a lot, due to a lack of client interaction, but now i'm going to up the ante...

daniel i like the jeans on weekends only idea- seems quite sophisticated and mature.

I NEED SOME HELP
Im so over these emo and skinny jeans that hang below ur bumb cheeks and think its time for my tall slinder frame to invest in some flares/bellbottoms high waisted 70's pants for some travel.Im thinking 6 months ahead here. Are cropped jackets with singlet etc ok? Any help would be greatly appreciated as my brain is not working atm.

my dream is to become roisin myrphy... well have a male wardrobe equivalent to hers! That would be so much fun! but until then, i'm packing up all colours into a time capsule labelled 2003-2008.

After hacking all my hair off post new years eve in a britney-esque evening. I've decided to reinvent myself ala madge, kylie and such (hehe). I feel like developing a more rigid geometric base of black, white, brown (monotone) staples in slacks, T-shirts + jackets mixed with quaint little accessories like ribbons knotted in bows as ties, quirky scarves and maybe I'll finally venture into jewelery, perhaps purchasing a vintage ring or convincing my mother to give me my fathers. (as some may know I've never adorned myself in such finery)

I think I'm going to have a lot of fun with vintage and the sewing machine soon!

Philphy, this is definitely the year for quirky scarves and bold jewellery - if ever there was a time to experiment you can get away with it for sure. But guys generally (espcially in Australia) being much less adventurous, you'll still stand out! :D

TootToot maybe you can try doing the skinny flare in that Burberry AW08 way -

With a slim-cut blazer and maybe swap the l/s shirt for a tee to bring it into spring / summer... or just a tee tucked in, a cool belt and an interesting neck-scarf?
