I've read none of them (sorry Kaz) but have always wanted to read Catcher in the Rye because it's such a classic. Unfortunately the curriculum has changed since I was at school / uni (also did English lit at Uni) so I can't really help you!

1984 is fantastic. One of my favourite books.

Brave New World too.

'Fraid I haven't read your books!

Did read Catcher in the Rye but it was way too long ago, loved 1984 I read an ex's copy with her marginalia scribbled throughout was quite enlightening.

Haha, Allan, you should see my books; highlighted and plenty of scribblings!

I made a flip book in my copy of The Europeans; it was a man with his moustache growing and growing and growing...

My teacher was wondering why I was giggling when she read about one of the character's (Felix) having a moustache himself...
